When our highly talented team of designers and engineers first set out to create a completely new Riviera – one befitting membership of our exclusive Flybridge collection – they immediately turned to our loyal legion of blue-water cruising aficionados.
After all, who better to help chart a new course for Australia’s most-awarded builder of luxury motor yachts than highly experienced members of our global family of Riviera owners?
With your valued assistance, we have comprehensively researched how, when and where you use your Riviera … feeding all your experience, knowledge and aspirations into the design process as we strive to create for you the ‘ultimate boating experience’.
What we heard is that you desire to spend more time living aboard your luxury Riviera, and that you dream of cruising even further afield … and that you want real choices – and that this applies equally in terms of navigation and onboard systems as it does to drive packages.
Now, we present to you the supremely seaworthy, easy-to-skipper and absolutely luxurious Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge – in many ways she is your creation just as much as ours.
She is stylish, sophisticated and sublime … and proudly embodies the hallmark dependability for which Riviera is internationally renowned.
Notably, the 57 is available with your choice of either conventional shaft drive or innovative pod propulsion – one of the first yachts in the world to offer owners such flexibility. Of course such world-leading thinking and creativity in design is evident right throughout this world-class Riviera, which has been built to last with global best-practice standards foremost in mind.
You’ll notice her distinctive design – including her fully enclosed flybridge – that has everything in perfect proportion. Indeed, with her contemporary styling and impeccable blue-water pedigree, the robust Riviera 57 Enclosed exhibits powerful and noble lines with a muscular sheer forward and deep topside dimensions, giving her a freeboard akin to a much larger yacht altogether.
The full magnitude is complemented by the fact her hull lines run straight aft from the maximum mid-ship beam of 5.13m (16' 10"). This, in turn, provides an extremely buoyant lift and an easy planing surface, as well as great stability, enhancing her penultimate blue-water performance.
Indeed, there's less the sense of a scaled-up 50-footer as there might be of a scaled-down 60-something. (The 57's overall length with swim platform and bow sprit is actually 60’8”)

• Optional accommodation layout - The standard accommodation offering is four cabins and three bathrooms with the master stateroom amidships, a guest stateroom forward, and two cabins on the starboard side. An optional layout is three cabins and three bathrooms, with a larger stateroom forward, an athwartships lower berth in the aft starboard cabin and the option of either a private lounge or a writing bureau in the forward stateroom in place of the fourth cabin.
• Internal Staircase - The internal staircase is designed to connect the flybridge and saloon as one space, making access to the flybridge both safe and comfortable.
• Enclosed Flybridge - The fully enclosed flybridge includes a flowing lounge along the port side for increased comfort and utilisation of space. The aft viewing deck has a three-seater lounge and is connected with the flybridge interior through a stainless steel awning window. An electric sunroof adds natural light.
• Salon - A large L-shaped lounge wraps around the port aft quarter of the saloon, opposite the internal staircase. A liquor cabinet with bar fridge, icemaker and electric lift glass storage feature is under the staircase. A six-seat dinette is opposite the galley, which includes all the appliances to make it a chef’s delight.
• Moulded Mezzanine - Upholstered mezzanine seating provides a great viewing platform to watch the game fish action, and provides another outdoor lounging area. The cockpit is designed with wraparound side deck steps to dramatically improve access to the forward deck. For Riviera, the creation of the new 63 enclosed flybridge was an opportunity to utilise our knowledge, talent and technology in new and exciting ways
The flybridge is destined to become a favourite spot for socialising with family and friends. It is delightfully spacious and features huge lounges, a full wet bar with granite bench top, a sizeable (and folding) table, plus an independent audio system – one of four such systems that allow different music to be played in different on-board locations.
So that you can keep your eye on things, monitoring cameras fitted to the saloon, cockpit and engine room feed through to the flybridge display screens.
You will also find an LCD TV, air conditioning, and the most exquisite wrap-around helm with the luxury of twin Pompanette Platinum helm chairs. An electrically operated sunroof together with the option of sliding side windows means you can also take full advantage of fine weather and fresh air.
On this model, we have opted for an especially deep flybridge overhang. This not only increases the size of the flybridge aft deck, but provides considerable shade and weather protection to the cockpit mezzanine.
The internal staircase connecting the flybridge with the saloon provides an easy flow between the two areas and it makes all-weather cruising that much more comfortable – in fact it is the perfect complement to an enclosed flybridge.
The same relentless attention to detail and commitment to your pleasure is to be found in the cockpit. It’s there in a new style cockpit floor, a moulded one-piece structure that is utterly watertight; it’s there in the quality of the upholstered mezzanine seating and the convenience of integrated drink holders; and it’s there in newly designed lockers and hawse holes with large mooring cleats.
Intelligent, user-friendly design and quality manufacturing are evident at every turn. It is even there in small fiberglass parts such as hatches, which are extremely robust yet display a beaufitful, lustrous finish due to new injection moulding technology.
With a stainless steel framed outward opening door and large hinged out awning window, there is a smooth flow between the saloon and cockpit. This also enhances the sense of light and space within the saloon - and with the option of a front windscreen and opening side windows, you can make it even brighter and lighter.
The ambience in the saloon is both elegant and highly contemporary. For example, instead of carpet at the saloon entry and foot of the internal staircase we have installed easy to clean, durable and modern Amtico flooring. The timber pelmets with their high gloss finish also add a touch of style.
Incidentally, all timberwork on 63 benefits from our varnishing facility, one of the most advanced in Australia and one that produces the most flawless, mirror-like finish.
When it comes to entertaining or relaxing after a hard day’s cruising or fishing, the saloon is an oasis. The lounge is enormous and clad in the finest leather, the dinette is large enough for a banquet, the lighting is subtle and sophisticated… and the inclusions are endless. There’s a liquor cabinet with bar fridge, ice maker and electric lift glass storage cabinet; there’s a an LCD TV and Bose Lifestyle audio system; and, just to make life that little bit easier, the opening and closing of the rod storage in the headliner is electrically operated.
If you are accustomed to leaving your creature comforts behind when you set foot on your boat, the 63 is a very different story.
And never more so than in the catering department. From the large granite benchtop to the inline water filtration system, you have an extremely well equipped and highly functional galley at your disposal.
There are many ingredients to this gourmet galley, a well conceived layout and copious amounts of storage space. With its appliances like a 4 burner electric induction cook top, a 3 drawer fridge, freezer and microwave.
Our debate whether to make the 63 a three or four cabin vessel was resolved when we decided to offer you the choice: if you are likely to embark on voyages of a few days with many friends or family members, then you may prefer the four cabin option; if you envisage longer voyages with a smaller party, the three cabin option gives you the luxury of a below-deck lounge area.
Both the forward and master stateroom offer the comfort of a walk-around, queen-size island bed with a quality inner spring mattress. Gas struts to the bed make the under-bed storage easy to access.
You will also find ample cupboard and hanging space – and the cedar-lined lockers keep your clothing nice and fresh. The queen beds also feature a new upholstered bed-head to provide superior comfort when sitting up reading or to view your LCD TV.
Should you select the three-cabin option, the increased size of the forward stateroom allows for a private lounge or writing bureau. The three-cabin configuration allows for a full height linen cupboard in the companionway and relocates the washer and dryer from the aft guest cabin into a dedicated and considerably larger utility centre, also in the companionway.
The master en suite and other two bathrooms have a delightfully indulgent ambience. Marble vanity bench tops, above-bench chic porcelain bowls, quality mixer taps, leading brand shower-ware… as is the case throughout the 63, every fixture and fitting is an expression of good taste and fine craftsmanship.
At the end of the day, sleeping easy comes with having confidence in your boat and the satisfaction of having made the wisest choice. That thousands of Riviera owners upgrade to another Riviera suggests that this fabulous new model will give you the soundest of sleeps.

Utilizing the finest Construction Methods: State-of-the-art digital kitting is utilized to precisely cut all fiberglass and structural foams for the lamination process to ensure that each component fits perfectly. The finest quality joinery is created by exacting CNC precision-cut timbers with all cabinets hand built by master craftspeople. Each mold is thoroughly inspected, cleaned and waxed before the initial application of isophthalic gelcoat is sprayed to provide a high gloss and superior water and fade resistant finish. Closed molding techniques are utilized to manufacture small parts where these precise components require lighter weight and very high quality finishes. The superior internal varnished finishes are achieved by a robotic varnish machine which has a humidified drying room to cure the painted surface. Up to five coats of varnish are applied. Riviera hulls are hand-laid with multi or quad fiberglass matting over core materials such as foam and sealed with vinyl ester resin, due to its superior ability to withstand water absorption. Hull construction is a very intricate and skilled process and hand-laid fiberglass construction is far superior in strength to any other method. The hull and deck surface finishes have great impact resistance. A finished hull can be almost 20 mm thick – solid fiberglass below the waterline with great strength where it matters most. Major structural components of a Riviera yacht are manufactured from glass reinforced plastic (GRP) to give immense strength and service life to the yacht. To produce a high-strength and watertight connection, the joining of the hull and deck is a three-stage process that involves bonding, bolting and internal fiberglass strapping. All fuel tanks fitted to a Riviera yacht are manufactured from GRP with fire-retardant resin, have structural internal baffles for stability and are fiberglassed in place to create great structural strength. All wiring looms, air-conditioning and water lines are color-coded and tagged for precision and identification. Each yacht spends two days being prepared for sea trials and then 4 to 6 hours being put through its paces with an engineer, electrician and engine manufacturer’s representative onboard. From elegantly understated to magnificently bold, only the finest, hand-selected premium New Zealand leathers are used. Superior-grade timbers have been hand-selected including walnut, cherry, oak, teak and wenge to allow the personalization of your yacht. All exterior stainless steel is crafted from high-quality 316 grade which offers better overall corrosion-resistance properties. Riviera glass windscreens are fabricated in premium-grade curved glass and all windows offer resistance to thermal transfer. Every Riviera features durable and corrosion-resistant, anodized aluminum sliding side windows. Call us today for more information at 941-365-9095.
