The Belize 43 Catamaran has recently been refit, it was one of the most successful models built by Fountaine Pajot. The lightweight, tall rig and large sail area,  make the Belize one of the best performing catamarans in this size range. The owners have commonly experienced speeds in the 8 to 12-knot range. The high bridge deck minimizes wave slapping and makes for a safe and comfortable ride.

These boats were made with foam cored hulls, foam under the two forward berths and poured foam behind the engines.
