The Grand Banks 43 Eastbay HX was one of the most successful models in the history of an iconic manufacturer with her relatively narrow beam she can take on any sea state with calm smooth operation. And Watermark is easily as well cared for an example of this great boat as you could hope to find on the used market. Her white hull glistens and stem to stern she is a pleasure to board.  The cabin sole below literally looks to have never been walked on and every detail on board shines. She has the sought after single cabin layout which offers such a much more comfortable use of the interior  spaces.  The boat "breathes" so much better than the model with the cramped bunk room for a second stateroom.  Center line queen forward master followed by large dry head to starboard and a large shower to port with abundant storage.  The U shaped settee opposite the galley is huge and affords a feeling of luxury comfort and spaciousness.  The galley is spotless and brags the upgraded pure white corion countertops.   The interior also has the upgraded gloss varnished trim, a seemingly minor detail, but one that just speaks volumes about the stylish pop the cadence of this special boat.  The helm  has the "right" layout with the larger L shaped settee and the highly varnished upgraded yacht table. We are preparing a proper listing presently but wanted to get her on the the market for a potential buyer, please call for more information.

Watermark is a very special boat and will certainly make a great platform for family fun for her next owner.

GRAND BANKS YACHTS

Established: 1956
Located: Singapore and Malaysia
Construction: Fiberglass
Category: Trawlers, Downeast, Pilothouse

Brand History:

Grand Banks Yachts began its journey in 1956 as American Marine, Ltd. Founder Robert J. Newton and his sons, John and Whit, were running a custom boatyard on Junk Bay in Hong Kong, building heavy sailboats and big motor yachts to designs by the world’s top marine architects – Sparkman & Stephens, William Garden, Nat Herreshoff, Ray Hunt and others. Today, this design is recognized around the world as the Grand Banks Heritage Series, an iconic design built first of wood and then, beginning in 1973, of fiberglass at a new factory in Singapore.

Today, Grand Banks offers a choice of models in three distinctive series: The Heritage Series of iconic trawler-style yachts; the Eastbay Series of Down East cruisers; and the Aleutian Series of bluewater raised- pilothouse yachts.

In each series, Grand Banks has sought to capture the spirit of a nautical ideal – and combine it with state-of-the-art equipment, meticulous craftsmanship, and superior construction techniques. It is the reason Grand Banks yachts have become such icons around the world, and why they continue to meet the high standards of discerning, demanding boaters today.
