As you observe 'Bermuda II' from the dock it is immediately obvious that this is a stunning example of what is a rare model, having been maintained by just a few loving owners over her lifetime. Her immaculate varnished capping rails and expansive teak laid decks are a highlight of this boat. This model is well suited to both old and young crew as wide walk around sidedecks make getting around the boat easy. Her large cockpit features a stunning high gloss teak table for entertaining up to 8 guests. 'Bermuda II' is equipped with additional refrigeration in the cockpit being a large top opening freezer and front opening drinks fridge so your next cold beverage is always close at hand! A rail mounted BBQ is on hand to feed all the crew.

Below her cockpit is a huge lazarette which provides a mammoth amount of space to store cruising equipment, and houses the boat's Watermaker and laundry being a separate clothes washer and clothes dryer. Access to the engine room is via the lazarette and houses her upgraded twin John Deere engines and Onan generator, in what is a stand up engine room space.

Back up on the main deck and into the saloon you will observe a pop up Samsung TV to port along with two single seat couches. Opposite to starboard is an L-shaped lounge with a hi/lo expandable table arrangement for transforming her coffee table into a dining table for when its appropriate to eat indoors. Further forward to starboard you will observe her well equipped U-shaped galley, while opposite you have a handy dinette which would be a perfect breakfast spot.

The lower helmstation is on the centreline, offers excellent visibility, and features a comfortable Stidd Helm Seat for the skipper. Pilothouse doors, opening out onto both the port and starboard side decks, make for easy access out of the saloon when anchoring or docking.

To the portside of the helm you have a stairway down to the lower accommodation. The master stateroom is a full beam arrangement featuring a desk to port, and a couch to starboard. The master features a king size island bed, a separate shower stall to port, and to starboard a toilet and wash basin including the all important full length mirror so as you can ensure you are looking your best for fellow shipmates! Her starboard guest cabin features twin bunks configured as a large single bottom bunk running fore and aft, plus an arthwartship top bunk. Up forward of this guest cabin is a spacious V berth arrangement. The forward two cabins share a bathroom which also doubles as the day head.

Her flybridge offers additional spacious entertaining areas, plus more refrigeration. Her center console RIB tender is stowed aft on the flybridge, and is launched via her oversized Davco crane.

'Bermuda II's' current owners have completed many upgrades during the period in which they have owned the boat including the installation of the Novurania RIB, the installation of Sateliite TV, setting up ship's laundry with quality Meile appliances, the installation of the cockpit dining table, along with countless other small improvements including refreshed soft furnishings.

Brand History:

Grand Banks Yachts began its journey in 1956 as American Marine, Ltd. Founder Robert J. Newton and his sons, John and Whit, were running a custom boatyard on Junk Bay in Hong Kong, building heavy sailboats and big motor yachts to designs by the world’s top marine architects – Sparkman & Stephens, William Garden, Nat Herreshoff, Ray Hunt and others. Today, this design is recognized around the world as the Grand Banks Heritage Series, an iconic design built first of wood and then, beginning in 1973, of fiberglass at a new factory in Singapore.

Today, Grand Banks offers a choice of models in three distinctive series: The Heritage Series of iconic trawler-style yachts; the Eastbay Series of Down East cruisers; and the Aleutian Series of bluewater raised- pilothouse yachts.

In each series, Grand Banks has sought to capture the spirit of a nautical ideal – and combine it with state-of-the-art equipment, meticulous craftsmanship, and superior construction techniques. It is the reason Grand Banks yachts have become such icons around the world, and why they continue to meet the high standards of discerning, demanding boaters today.
