SIMPLICITY is one of the best-kept Eastbay 38 HX Cruisers this office has seen. Her fastidious owners have owned her since 2009, and have always stored her in heated sheds in the winter, with instructions to do whatever is needed mechanically and cosmetically to keep her in first class condition. They have cruised her extensively from the Statue of Liberty to Canada. Please review all of the upgrades done under their ownership, including a remanufactured 2018 port engine block, new interior and exterior varnish, 2013 epoxy bottom, 2013 Awlgripped hull, deck and trunk cabin, two new Simrad touch screen Radar-Plotters and much more. This vessel will not disappoint the most discerning boater. Please call us for your inspection and thank you for your interest.

GRAND BANKS YACHTS

Established: 1956
Located: Singapore and Malaysia
Construction: Fiberglass
Category: Trawlers, Downeast, Pilothouse

Brand History:

Grand Banks Yachts began its journey in 1956 as American Marine, Ltd. Founder Robert J. Newton and his sons, John and Whit, were running a custom boatyard on Junk Bay in Hong Kong, building heavy sailboats and big motor yachts to designs by the world’s top marine architects – Sparkman & Stephens, William Garden, Nat Herreshoff, Ray Hunt and others. Today, this design is recognized around the world as the Grand Banks Heritage Series, an iconic design built first of wood and then, beginning in 1973, of fiberglass at a new factory in Singapore.

Today, Grand Banks offers a choice of models in three distinctive series: The Heritage Series of iconic trawler-style yachts; the Eastbay Series of Down East cruisers; and the Aleutian Series of bluewater raised- pilothouse yachts.

In each series, Grand Banks has sought to capture the spirit of a nautical ideal – and combine it with state-of-the-art equipment, meticulous craftsmanship, and superior construction techniques. It is the reason Grand Banks yachts have become such icons around the world, and why they continue to meet the high standards of discerning, demanding boaters today.
