Ocean Jewel is one of the famous 'Ocean' yachts built in Poole, UK at 'SOS', 'Southern Ocean Shipyards'.
She completed a total refit in Nelson, New Zealand and did her seatrial by sailing around the NZ North Island.

OJ lives in Nelson NZ and sometimes does a short season in Tonga or Fiji, but mainly based in Nelson

OJ has an Owners aft cabin. There is a large double bed accross the aft end which has extened ends so that it can be used a 2 singles when at sea. She has an ensuite bathroom on the port side and wardrob to Stbd.

The Galley is located just aft of the crew quarter. It is full beam and has just been totally gutted and rebuilt:

A teak deck has just been reconditioned.
Also new layout for all winches and sail handling systems.
New Anderson electric sheet winches have been installed in the cockpit.

Sails and Rig
New Sails by Doyle, NZ. New yankee, staysail, main and mizzen
Masts and rigging has been removed and fully serviced. New pieced replaced where needed.
