 Qi is on the market for the second time ever since new. She has been lovingly maintained for the past 10 years by her current owners, with new standing rigging in 2016 and undergoing a huge refit in 2019. She is in immaculate condition, with fresh paintwork and recently re-caulked teak decking.

The 2019 refit included:

-       All chain plates replaced
-       Keel removed, sandblasted, fared, painted and re attached.
-       Windows replaced
-       Through-hulls replaced
-       Re-painted
-       Teak deck sanded and re caulked
-       Fuel tank replaced

 This boat is a pleasure to sail, with well thought out systems that are easy to use. The mainsail is in-mast furling and the decks are clear with great access around the boat. The main and jib sheets are set up so you can work the sails comfortably from inside the cockpit or sit on the aft deck with a great view of the rig.
The winged keel is reminiscent of technology inspired by Australia’s Americas Cup win in 1983. This innovation gives the boat deeper draft heeled over upwind, and extra stability on anchor.
The cockpit is shaded by a fantastic dodger setup with a glass windscreen and hoop for extra coverage. The transom is very accessible for dinghy or swimmers with the scoop, boarding ladder and steps up the back of the boat.

The interior woodwork is beautifully finished & has been well kept. There is generous headroom throughout the boat with plentiful storage. The interior layout has been designed with safety at sea in mind, with a port aft galley and many handholds. The master cabin is spacious with a bed that is accessible from both sides, yet tucked in enough to not roll around at sea. The saloon table drops down to create another double berth.

This boat is a fantastic, strong, solid oceangoing design that has only been strengthened and improved over time. She is now ready for her next adventure.
