Valiant 50' 50
The Valiant 50 is a proven bluewater cruising sailboat with numerous circumnavigations to her credit. The hand laid solid fiberglass hull with high density structural foam stringers is massively strong, which is further enhanced by the fact that all bulkheads and furniture is bonded directly to the hull, has earned the reputation of being "over-built."
Volvamus was the first Valiant 50 to be built at the Texas factory and is still owned by her original owner. However, there is a time a place for everything and the owner is now needing to spend more time on land based activities. The owner did a significant amount of work on the boat over the years and mainly sailed it seasonally in New England waters. As such, there are remarkably few hours on the engine (only 305 hours).
Volvamus is not a new boat, however she is a very well built boat with a well earned reputation as a boat that can "go anywhere and do anything." If you are looking for boat that is safe and comfortable, while also sailing well in a wide variety of conditions, the Valiant 50 may be the boat you have been looking for.

Valiant Yachts are legendary - the standard by which all other bluewater cruising sailboats are measured. No other sailboat manufactured today even comes close to equaling the success that Valiant has had in making safe, successful offshore passages and circumnavigations. With well over three million nautical miles under Valiant hulls, they have earned their reputation the hard way - one circumnavigation at a time - as the world's most successful offshore cruising sailboats ever. Fast, weatherly, tough and superbly built. The ultimate bluewater sailboat - and they've proven it!
