Luhrs 40' 10'' 38 Open

This rugged Luhrs 38 Open is known for its fishability! The hull features a wide beam, Carolina flare, and a sharp entry to deliver a smooth, dry ride. The low center of gravity increases stability in a seaway as well as when trolling. A large helms console holds all the latest in electronics and instruments while keeping the captain in the center of the action. Visibility is enhanced by the raised custom helm seat and the standard full enclosure. Rigging baits or working tackle is easy with the custom live well located in the center of the cockpit which also includes extra rod and gaff holders with a high-capacity pump that will keep the bait alive and ready to go. When you get the fish aboard cockpit also includes a massive in floor fish box and to other raised fish boxes for your prize catches. Other performance equipment includes a full tuna tower complete with controls, instruments, seating and even a sunshade plus air conditioning. Turn those long hot days of fish fighting into longer nights with the accommodations below. A wide, open design featuring double berth with a real inner-spring mattress awaits you as does the fully-lined head with a luxurious separate stall shower. The settee/dinette will seat you for dinner and convert at night into a double on the lower and a single on the upper to allow for the flexibility you need for family, friends and crew. Any chef will appreciate the Corian-covered galley which includes range, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and plenty of storage that turns this fishing machine into an entertaining vessel to provide fun for the entire family.
