Customers now have an option for a boat with accommodations similar to that of the 42 in a smaller, easier to handle and more economical package. Designed by Lynn Senour, the originator of the Nordic Tug design, the 37 shares many of the features found in her larger and smaller siblings such as a hand-laid fiberglass hull with hard chine and full keel as well as the same attributes of speed and seakeeping qualities. The waterline length of the 37 is actually 39 feet due to a molded-in swim step that is essentially an extension of the hull giving her greater speed, stability and fuel economy.

Accommodations

 Offers a roomy, pleasant, and versatile layout for a cruising couple.  She is a wonderful vessel for cruising, entertaining, and spending significant time aboard.

Enter from the cockpit through the aft door and find yourself in the main salon, with galley to stb.  GREAT visibility and pleasant views of the nearby scenery are allowed from this area as well as from the pilothouse.  Features stringless window blinds for privacy, opening windows on either side and aft. The upholstery is tan. There is teak cabinetry everywhere. Floor is new Teak and Holley 

Up three steps to the pilothouse, with full helm controls to stb, This area has full 360 degree visibility, which makes a huge difference to the pilot in the open seas or in the close quarters of the harbor.  There are access doors on either side to the side decks and forward to the bow.  There are spring cleats just outside each pilothouse door for ease of short/singlehanded docking maneuvers.  Decorative teak is throughout.  Helm controls, electronics and nav equipment are easy to access .  12v and 110v electrical panels are also located here, for ease of access by the pilot as needed.  Opening window, curtains, and overhead hatch add comfort and privacy while underway and once returned to port.

Engine room access is beneath the pilothouse sole through two floorboards, with a hinged step to get in and out.  Once in the engine room, there is comfortable sitting access with head room on either side of the engine, and all parts are accessible.  The soundproofing of this compartment makes socializing and general communication while underway easy and pleasant.

Forward and down four steps are the living quarters  She features a walk around berth in the master stateroom, all the way forward.  Her master stateroom also features hanging lockers and cabinet storage, plenty for a cruising couple, a full length mirror, pleasant overhead hatch and opening ports, and closed access to the ground tackle locker.   Generous headroom adds to the open, roomy feel.

On the way to the master stateroom, you pass the guest stateroom to port and the head to stb.  Guest stateroom features upper (stowable) and lower berths, hanging locker and cabinet storage, and opening ports.

She has one single, versatile head compartment, to serve as an easily accessible day head, and roomy facilities for the cruising couple and guest.  She features an electric head, with y valve, macerator, and holding tank; a once piece separate shower stall with standing room and seat; vanity with sink, small and large mirrors, cabinet storage, 110v outlet, and opening ports.  A handy feature is the removeable panel to access the helm fixtures and wiring, which one will appreciate when any work needs to be done.

 

Deck

She offers a roomy, fully covered cockpit, deck box and lazarette storage, side decks with hand rails/holds, transom walkthrough door, swim platform, 8 SS cleats and Sampson post, and rooms to get all around.  Electric Simpson=Lawrence windlass with foot pedals are at the bow and console and is equipped with bow pulpit, Bruce anchor, 250’ chain and rode.

Access to the upper deck is from the cockpit, up the ladder and through the hatch. The upper deck area has rails all around for safety.
