Emergency Lighting System

An emergency lighting system is installed in accordance with the Classification Society requirements using 24V DC batteries and a dedicated battery charger.
In correspondence with stairs, corridors, wheelhouse, crew mess, and any room exit and escapes, emergency lights are provided. They switch on automatically in case of failure of the AC system.
Accommodation emergency lights are normally supplied with 24V DC power by 220V AC main circuit. An automatic device is provided for switching from the main circuit to the 24V DC emergency one. In the engine and technical rooms, suitable lamps are fitted in correspondence of escape
