Granocean 58' 7'' W-60
A cruising yacht first. A luxury yacht second.
Proven offshore. Owner operated. Advanced engineering. Genuinely semi-custom.
1. Advanced Offshore Construction
Built in vinylester. Engineered by Gurit. Category A Ocean.
Every major structural component is vacuum-infused using vinylester resin with closed-cell foam cores and strategic carbon reinforcement. The result is a strong, stiff and weight-efficient structure engineered with Gurit for serious offshore use. The W60 is CE Category A — Ocean certified.
2. Designed for Owner Operation
A serious offshore yacht an experienced couple can manage.
At 58'7" with an exceptional 28'5" beam, the W60 delivers the volume of a considerably larger yacht without automatically requiring permanent professional crew. Its systems, helm arrangements and cruising configuration are conceived around practical owner operation.
3. Builder-Direct Design & Engineering
The people designing the yacht are the people building it.
GranOcean owns the shipyard and retains design and engineering capability in-house. Owners and their captains can work directly with the team responsible for designing, engineering and building their yacht rather than passing requirements through multiple layers of sales representatives and subcontractors.
4. Genuinely Semi-Custom
Bespoke thinking without bespoke-yacht pricing.
Accommodation layout, galley position, open or enclosed flybridge, furniture, tender arrangements, engines, equipment, solar and hybrid solutions can all be configured around how the owner intends to use the yacht. The model guide specifically identifies layout, interiors, engines, equipment and hybrid/solar solutions as customizable areas. W-60 Model Guide
5. Specialist Design Pedigree
World-class expertise where it matters.
The W-Series combines specialist input from Gurit in structural/composite engineering, Stimson Marine in CFD hull development, Howard Apollonio in naval architecture and Vripack in interior design. The W60 model guide confirms Howard Apollonio, Gurit and Vripack as the principal design and engineering partners. W-60 Model Guide
6. Long-Range Efficiency with Real Performance
Slow when you want. Fast when you need.
The W60 combines efficient twin-hull cruising with Cummins QSB6.7 propulsion choices up to twin 715 hp and approximately 25-knot maximum performance. Owners can therefore configure the yacht toward economy, range or higher cruising performance. W-60 Model Guide
7. Exceptional Space, Shallow Draft
28'5" of beam. Just 4' of draft.
The W60's exceptional beam produces substantial interior and exterior volume while retaining the shallow-water access that makes a power cat particularly attractive for the Bahamas, Caribbean and other cruising grounds. W-60 Model Guide
8. Built to Go Further
Offshore capability without superyacht complexity.
Category A Ocean certification, 4,500 litres of fuel, substantial storage, protected cruising options and offshore-focused engineering make the W60 much more than a high-volume coastal power cat. W-60 Model Guide
The price quoted here is the base boat price. A "fully loaded" specification with upgraded engines will cost more, however still at incredible value for a 60' power cat!
